Mission
Our mission is to connect high school students to the world and their futures -- by helping them develop a plan for achievement in school and life, and by connecting them to a web of on-going coaching support to make this achievement possible.
- We believe it is never “too late” to help a student chart a productive path in life.
- We believe that life – for our students, just as it is for adults -- is very much about “who you know” and making connections.
- We believe that each of our “disconnected” students can and should be an active initiator and self-advocate in reaching out for help.
- We love mentoring, but believe that we need to develop a new model – a model that makes mentoring (we call it “coaching”) easier, more accessible and more cost efficient than many existing programs.
- We believe that there is incredible “connection” potential to be tapped in the power of today’s social networking technology.
